Tucked just off the Bellagio's lobby on the Las Vegas Strip, the Conservatory is a free, lavishly over-the-top indoor garden that's completely reimagined five times a year for the seasons and Lunar New Year. Teams of horticulturists fill the soaring glass-roofed space with tens of thousands of fresh flowers, towering sculptural installations, water features, and animatronic surprises, a riot of colour and craft that's one of the best free things to do in Vegas.
It takes 20–30 minutes to stroll, makes a lovely contrast to the casino floor, and pairs naturally with the Bellagio's famous fountains just outside. Because it's free and central, it's busy, early morning is the calmest time to actually see the displays.
